We have two wedding departments located in the Niagara region, St. Catharines and Vineland.

If you are planning your wedding from a distance, we are happy to establish a “long distance relationship”! We request that you provide us with some possible dates and times that may work for you to set up an initial phone or skype consultation. We will then provide you with a quote. Contact us for your complimentary consultation.

Before you book your floral consultation you should have your dress, bridesmaid's dresses and colour palette chosen, as well as, your venue established. We will need this information to help choose the best flower combinations for you, your attendants and your venue. Please also bring photos of your floral inspiration and of your bridal gown. This will help us achieve an overall picture of what you are looking for in wedding flowers and style. If you bring us a picture of a bouquet or centerpiece we will be able to recreate it for you providing we have access to all the flowers in the pictures. If there is a slim chance the flowers are not available, we will suggest an appropriate substitute to recreate the same “look and feel.”

We have multiple photographs you can view via our inspiration galleries. Our galleries display photos by colour or style. We even have a few featured weddings where you can see our designs in action. If you would like to see fresh examples, you can book a complimentary consultation at our St. Catharines or Vineland locations.

We can create all of your floral needs for your wedding from bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces to pew markers, altar arrangements and even floral garlands and arbors. We also have an extensive range of vases, pillars, pew stands and arbors, small votives through to large feature pieces for rental. Contact one of our locations for more details!

Preferably, you should order your wedding flowers 4-8 months before your wedding. (you are welcome to come 12- 18 months ahead). We book a limited number of weddings & events per weekend, therefore, book early to ensure your date is available. However, we have been known to work our magic in as little as, a week.

We ask for a non refundable $100 to secure your wedding date. No dates are secured or held without a signed contract and the reservation retainer. We do not tentatively book wedding dates.

Without even realizing it, we all have a style we love. It's just a matter of finding out what that is. We do this during a consultation by getting to know you and discussing different ideas and pictures until those favoured elements begin to stand out. We will be happy to create a sample arrangement, however, there will be an additional fee. A suggestion is to use this arrangement for the bridal shower or centerpiece for another event.

Yes! We deliver and do setups throughout southern Ontario. The Watering Can has an experienced delivery and set up team who will ensure all the floral arrangements for your wedding are perfectly prepared for your arrival on your special day. We have a range of delivery and set-up options which we can discuss with you during a consultation.

If you choose us as your wedding/event florist we will supply all the fresh floral bouquets and arrangements for your event using our reputable floral wholesalers. This is to ensure a high quality product and consistency in design for all aspects of your event flowers. You will want all of your flowers looking their best for your big day!

Our delivery, set up and take down fees are determined by event location and the amount of flowers to be delivered and set up/taken down. Please contact us for a complimentary consultation to learn more about these services.

Working with the flowers in season at the time of your wedding or event is the best way to keep costs under control. We are fortunate to be situated in the Niagara region and because of our unique working relationships, this gives us the luxury to purchase directly from multiple local sustainable greenhouses. We have access year round to the freshest flowers which may be picked 1 to 2 days before your wedding. Be open to suggestions from your florist and if you have a budget in mind, discuss this early on in your consultation so we can offer advice within your price range.

Many flowers are available year round (prices may fluctuate) but there are some blooms that only have seasonal availability such as peonies, muscari, anemones etc. and if asked for out of season will be very expensive or not available at all. Holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. will affect flower prices and availability. Weather conditions and natural disasters also impact flower availability and pricing. The Watering Can does not offer fixed wedding packages realizing each couple has their own individual style and preferences. We work closely with you to tailor your own personal and unique wedding portfolio to reflect your vision and budget. We do not have a minimum requirement for booking your flowers with us.
